Hunter Selection is working with a well-established and reputable engineering consultancy that is actively looking to grow its team with a Graduate or Junior Structural Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual at the start of their career who’s eager to develop in a supportive and innovative environment.

You'll be joining a respected team delivering a diverse portfolio of structural and infrastructure projects. The role offers hands-on experience with industry-standard design software, exposure to live projects, and close mentorship from experienced Senior Engineers, designed to help you build a strong foundation for your professional growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support project requirements.
• Prepare detailed calculation packs for tenders and technical submissions.
• Provide technical assistance and support to Senior Engineers.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to project coordination and problem-solving.
• Develop and maintain project design models using software such as Revit, Building Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Structural Engineering.

Desirable Skills (not essential):

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related Autodesk products.
• Experience with structural calculation software such as TEDDS.
• Familiarity with building modelling tools (e.g. Revit, Building Designer).
• Knowledge of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
• Experience with Innovyze Civil Drainage Design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
