Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Quality team in upholding the highest product standards across all areas of the business
  • Play an active role in the successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects—from initial development through to production and customer launch
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to gather technical requirements and ensure their effective integration into manufacturing processes
  • Assist in the assessment of process and equipment capability to maintain consistent product quality
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, legal, and customer-specific standards throughout the product lifecycle
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of accurate and comprehensive quality documentation.
  • Engage with customers to investigate and resolve quality concerns, from supply chain issues to post-delivery support.
  • Promote a proactive quality culture focused on defect prevention and waste reduction.
  • Support the implementation of robust corrective action processes to eliminate recurring issues and prevent cross-product impact.
  • Work closely with Quality and Technical teams to enhance internal communication and ensure effective sharing of quality concerns and resolutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence across all departments

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a quality engineering role.
  • Experience of working with: PPAP/APQP, IPC
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, AS9100
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
