The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional permanent HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) DAY SHIFT DRIVERS to work from their Middlesbrough depot.

The right candidate will be offered a permanent contract based off a successful interview and driver assessment 

*We have ad-hoc as well as permanent roles available*

The role:

• Safe operation of a Class One (C+E) vehicle.
• Trunk runs between depots.
• Mainly Container work
• Potential for flatbed and tipper work
• Brand new 2026 reg fleet

The candidate:

• "C+E" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• In date CPC and Digi card.
• New pass accepted with the right attitude
• Excellent customer service skills.

Hours of work:

• 06:00 Start however, start times can vary due to delivery schedule

Pay Rates:

• £14.39 per hour for first 8 hours per day
• £19.19 after 42.5 weekly hours (overtime always available)
