Experienced Shot Blaster

Location: Hortonwood

Hours: Monday–Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm | Friday: 7:00am – 1:30pm

Pay Rate: £14/hour

We are seeking an experienced Shot Blaster to prepare surfaces, mainly metal, for painting or coating using blasting equipment. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, primarily working with mild steel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shot blasting and powder coating machinery.
• Move materials using cranes or forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in blasting or surface preparation.
• Ability to handle physically demanding work.
• Safe operation of cranes, forklifts, and workshop equipment.
