The Best Connection Tamworth is currently recruiting Automotive Production Operatives to join a well-established automotive interiors manufacturer based at Fradley Park, Lichfield.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a global automotive supply chain, producing high-quality interior vehicle components for some of the world's leading automotive brands. Full training is provided, making this role suitable for both experienced production operatives and candidates looking to build a career within automotive manufacturing.
Shift Pattern
Weekly Rotating 3-Shift Pattern (No Fixed Shifts)
- Days: 06:00 - 14:00 (£15.77 per hour)
- Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:00 (£15.77 per hour)
- Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 (£17.82 per hour)
Please note: Candidates must be willing to work all three shifts as part of the rotation.
The Role
As an Automotive Production Operative, you will work within a modern manufacturing environment producing interior vehicle components, including doors, dashboards, and trim assemblies.
Working as part of a team, you'll ensure products are assembled safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on a fast-paced automotive production line
- Assembling automotive interior components
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Conducting quality inspections and visual checks
- Following detailed work instructions and production specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
- Supporting wider production activities as required

Essential Requirements
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
- Flexible approach to rotating shifts
- Own transport due to site location and shift times
Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or automotive experience would be advantageous but is not essential as full training is provided.
