Location: Dordon
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Saturday | 06:00 start
Pay: £13.00 per hour for all hours, including weekends

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Driver’s Mate in Dordon

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Driver’s Mate to work alongside delivery drivers, assisting with the delivery of white goods to customers.

This is a hands-on role involving lifting, so candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding work.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the driver with deliveries of white goods, including:
  • Washing machines
  • Tumble dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Other household appliances
• Lifting and moving appliances safely
• Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle
• Helping the driver complete deliveries efficiently and safely
• Using basic computer systems as required
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Following all health and safety procedures

Working Hours & Pay

• £13.00 per hour for all hours worked
• Monday to Saturday cover
• 06:00 start time
• Finish times can vary depending on the delivery schedule and travelling distance
• Ongoing work available

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Be physically fit and capable of lifting
• Be reliable and punctual
• Have a good attitude towards work
• Be comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team
• Have good customer service skills
• Be willing to work Monday to Saturday when required
• Be comfortable using basic computer systems

Previous delivery or warehouse experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
