Our client, a well-established distribution business based in Tamworth, is looking for reliable and hardworking Packers to join their busy warehouse team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking long-term, ongoing work with regular overtime opportunities.

Previous warehouse or packing experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and commitment.

The Role

Working as part of a busy packing team, you will help ensure food products are packed accurately, checked for quality and prepared for dispatch.

Your duties will include:

• Packing dry food products, including sweets, instant noodles, peanut butter and other grocery items.

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products are correctly packaged and free from damage.

• Stacking products safely and securely onto pallets.

• Shrink-wrapping pallets ready for dispatch.

• Moving pallets using a pump truck.

• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

• Following all warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

The successful candidates will have:

• Previous warehouse or packing experience, preferred but not essential.

• Good attention to detail.

• The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment.

• A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.

• The ability to follow instructions and procedures.

• Good teamwork skills.

• A willingness to learn and use materials handling equipment (MHE) where required.

Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.

Working Hours and Pay

• Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00.

• £12.71 per hour.

• Overtime paid at £16.90 per hour after 37.5 hours worked.
