Class 1 (C+E) Weekend Day Driver – Tamworth

The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Weekend Day Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekday work with early starts, straightforward duties, and guaranteed minimum pay.

Pay & Hours

• £18.00 ph Sat, £20.00 ph Sun
• Saturdays & Sundays
• Day shifts
• Various start times
• 45-minute unpaid break
• Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier

Duties

• Trunking nationwide from the Tamworth depot
• Trailer swaps
• No handballing involved
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing a professional and reliable service

Requirements

• Minimum 6 month's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
