Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver – Tamworth

The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekday work with early starts, straightforward duties, and guaranteed minimum pay.

Pay & Hours

• Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour
• Saturday: £18.00 per hour
• Sunday: £20.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday day shifts (weekend shifts available where required)
• Start times between 04:00am and 08:00am
• 45-minute unpaid break
• Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier

Duties

• Nationwide trunking from the Tamworth depot
• Trailer swaps
• No handballing involved
• Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Providing a professional and reliable service

Requirements

• Minimum 6 month's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
