Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00
Additional Hours: One Saturday per month
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for a Service Administrator / Driver

Our client, based in Tamworth, is looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Service Administrator / Driver to join their busy automotive team.

This is a varied role combining administration, customer service and vehicle movements within a professional automotive environment. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and delivering a high standard of customer service, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service.
• Booking customer appointments and managing service schedules.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
• Liaising with customers and workshop technicians to ensure effective communication.
• Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Carrying out general administrative duties.
• Moving customer vehicles around the site when required.
• Safely driving customer vehicles into and out of the service workshop.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A full UK manual driving licence.
• Be 25 years of age or older for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A professional, friendly and confident manner.
• Confidence using computers, email and telephone systems.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.
• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.

Previous administration, reception or customer service experience would be an advantage.
