Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver – Tamworth

The Best Connection Group Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to work with one of our well-established clients, starting from Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular night work, straightforward trunking duties, guaranteed minimum pay, and a reliable ongoing assignment.

Pay & Hours

• £17.00 per hour Monday – Friday
• £18.00 per hour Saturdays
• £20.00 per hour Sundays
• Monday to Friday night shifts available
• Start times between 17:00 and 02:00
• 45-minute unpaid break
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift, even if you finish earlier

Duties

• Trunking nationwide from the Tamworth depot
• Trailer swaps
• No handballing involved
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and working time regulations
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers

Requirements

• Minimum 6 month's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach
