Mechanical Engineering Lecturer

Location: East London

Salary: £45-£50 per hour

Contract: Long-Term Temporary

About the Role

• Deliver engaging theory and practical Mechanical Engineering lessons across Levels 1–3.
• Teach core mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and practical workshop skills.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students to achieve their qualifications.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

• A Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Recent industry experience within Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant engineering environment.
• Strong practical workshop experience and the ability to support learners with hands-on engineering activities.
• A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although experienced industry professionals looking to move into Further Education are encouraged to apply.
