Ergo are committed to delivering world-class Cybersecurity and Data Protection solutions to our clients and we are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Recovery and Data Protection Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.
Working hybrid from any of our Irish offices you work closely with stakeholders to understand their data protection needs and develop robust strategies to protect data at rest, in transit, and in use.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience proposing, designing and deploying Data Protection and Storage solutions within Enterprise environments.

What will you do?
- Architect, Design and Cyber Recovery and Data Protection solutions. This involves initial Solution scoping, Requirement consultation enabling the design and deployments of On-Prem and Hybrid Cloud Platforms
- Develop comprehensive architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and solution documentation.
- Technical Consultation that will involve running proof-of-concept, proof-of-technology from a Customer planning, documentation, deployment and show-back perspective.
- Organise and execute workshops, customer presentations and customer stakeholder interviews independently to support pre-sales and project assignments.
- Support Sales and Pre-sales as Subject Matter Expert for Solution Proposal and customer presentation.
- Comfortable and confident presenting to customers as well as Industry Events on behalf of Ergo.
- Initially the role is focused on leading the Implementation and Deployment of Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery solutions, with an ability to mentor others.
- Leadership skills and a willingness to develop into a leadership role over time.
- Willingness and ability to work within a team with other Infrastructure and Cyber security architects and engineers to deliver effective business outcomes
You should have the following:
- Excellent technical knowledge of Cyber Recovery and Data Protection solutions with Dell Cybervault/Data Domain/Avamar/Networker a requirement. Veeam, Druva, Commvault, Netbackup or Zerto highly desirable.
- Dell Certified - PowerProtect Cyber Recovery Deploy or Dell PowerProtect DD Deploy
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail a must for this role
- Experience in helping customers design and operationalise disaster recovery and business continuity solutions including full test strategy.
- Skills, experience and Dell Proven Professional Certifications, in Dell Storage Technologies such as Powerstore, Powermax or Powerflex, technologies a distinct advantage
- Experience in Private Cloud Virtualization Technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), HCI and exposure to public cloud providers (AWS or Azure) especially from a Data Protection perspective would be desirable.
- Fluent English
- Full driving licence and car is a must for this role
