Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure (BBBH3574) Dublin, Republic of Ireland

We are specialists in helping Enterprise clients migrate their on-prem environments to the cloud and we are currently seeking an Enterprise Architect to supplement our delivery team delivering a critical cloud migration for a well-known public sector body.

The successful candidate will operate at both strategic and governance levels, working closely with senior stakeholders to define target-state architecture, modernisation roadmaps, and transitional hybrid operating models.

You should have experience leading data centre migrations and infrastructure transformation working with Windows Server, VMware and Azure.

This is a contract hybrid role based in Dublin.

 

What will you do?

  • Provide architectural leadership across a mature on-prem infrastructure environment.
  • Lead structured assessment of current state architecture, including hosting, networking, identity and security.
  • Define phased roadmap toward hybrid/cloud adoption aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level infrastructure architecture artefacts.
  • Lead architecture reviews across server, storage, networking, identity and security domains.
  • Define technical standards and architectural principles.
  • Lead planning and oversight of data centre migration initiatives and infrastructure consolidation.
  • Define migration strategies for applications and data.
  • Design hybrid architecture integrating on-prem data centres and Azure (IaaS, PaaS integration).

 

You should have experience in the following:

  • Proven experience leading data centre migrations and infrastructure transformation.
  • Experience supporting large-scale managed service contracts or service design frameworks.
  • Strong Azure architecture exposure, particularly in hybrid environments.
  • Experience with TOGAF or equivalent enterprise methodology desirable.
  • Strong documentation capability (architecture artefacts, roadmaps, standards).
  • Experience supporting security and regulatory frameworks
