For a modern supplier of industrial machinery and production systems, active across South Holland, we are looking for a Service Engineer Industrial Machinery. In this role, you will support customers in the South Holland region and nearby areas, where machine availability, safety, and performance are critical.

The position

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for keeping industrial machinery and installations operating at optimal performance. You work independently at customer sites while maintaining close contact with customers and the internal service organization.

Your main activities include:

• Installing, assembling, and commissioning industrial machinery
• Performing preventive maintenance and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
• Analyzing malfunctions and carrying out technical troubleshooting
• Adjusting machines, implementing upgrades, and improving efficiency
• Supporting and training operators and on-site maintenance teams
• Accurately documenting service activities and reporting findings internally

You will start with service and maintenance tasks and gradually take on more complex machine optimizations and technical modifications as your experience grows.

Your background

• Completed technical education (Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or similar)
• Experience or strong interest in servicing industrial machinery
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Good command of English; willingness to develop Dutch language skills
• Valid Category B driver’s license
• VCA certified or willing to obtain certification
