We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our technical team. In this role, you will travel throughout Rotterdam, The Hague, South Holland and Zeeland, supporting high-performance packaging machinery used in fast-paced production environments.

This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer interaction.

Your role

As a Field Service Engineer, you ensure that customers’ packaging machines run smoothly, reliably, and efficiently.
Your responsibilities include:

• Installing, commissioning, and configuring packaging machinery
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical components
• Troubleshooting breakdowns and identifying root causes
• Supporting machine upgrades, adjustments, and performance improvements
• Training customers in the safe and effective use of the equipment
• Documenting service activities and reporting technical findings to the internal team

You will start with standard maintenance and service tasks and can grow into more complex machine adjustments and improvement projects.

Your profile

• MBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, Field Technician, or Maintenance Engineer
• Strong interest in industrial machinery; experience with packaging equipment is a plus
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical technical drawings
• Fluent in English; Dutch at B1 level or willingness to learn is preferred
• Valid driving licence (B)
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it
