As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll work hands-on with complex systems while representing a trusted high-tech brand worldwide.

The role

In this dynamic position, you’ll travel regularly to customer sites to install, maintain, and optimize transport systems for production and logistics facilities. On-site, you’ll be the expert who diagnoses issues, provides solutions, and keeps systems running smoothly. You’ll also support clients remotely whenever needed.

Your key tasks

• Maintenance & improvements – Perform preventive service, resolve breakdowns, and implement system upgrades.

• Technical problem-solving – Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings and diagnostic equipment.

• Customer support – Communicate effectively with clients, understand their requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.

• Precision work – Calibrate, adjust, and commission components for optimal efficiency.

• Competitive salary up to €4,400 gross/month (depending on experience)

• Flexible working week – 32 or 36 hours, depending on travel schedule

What you bring

• Completed technical MBO (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Practical mindset with a passion for solving real-world technical challenges

• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) to work with international clients

• Valid EU driving license (B) and willingness to travel extensively

• Living in the Netherlands with full EU work authorization

Location

Your home base will be Oud-Beijerland (near Rotterdam), from where you’ll travel to customer sites across Europe.
