The Best Connection is recruiting Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-known and friendly retail client based in Bradford (BD5).

The Role

You'll be responsible for delivering to retail stores and completing trunking routes, with a variety of shift patterns available.

Duties Include:

• Delivering to 1-6 stores per shift during daytime routes
• Completing afternoon and evening trunk runs
• Moving cages and totes to the rear of the trailer (store staff unload the remainder)
• Safely reversing and manoeuvring large vehicles on-site
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and safety

Available Shift Patterns

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Sunday to Thursday
• Friday to Monday (guaranteed 11 hours paid on this shift pattern)
• Ad hoc shifts available for part-time drivers
• Ideal for drivers seeking 1 or 2 shifts per week
• All breaks are paid

Pay Rates

(Holiday pay accrued in addition to hourly rates)

Day Shifts (Monday to Sunday)

• £18.57 per hour
• £27.85 per hour after 8 hours

Night Shifts (Monday to Sunday)

• £20.01 per hour
• £30.01 per hour after 8 hours

Bank Holidays

• Day & Night Rate: £58.20 per hour

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
• An in-date Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 licence penalty points (no major endorsements)
• The ability to pass a driving assessment, including reversing and manoeuvring exercises
