The Manager - Member Development is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive membership growth. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in commercial strategic planning and business development. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen a deep understanding of the sales process.
Your role as Manager-Member Development :
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve membership growth targets.
- Manage book of business (existing clients and prospects) to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and member needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Management:
- Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the membership base.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential members, partners, and industry leaders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Utilize CRM software to track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Ideal profile as Manager- Member Development:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience.
- Fluent in French and Dutch, English is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets (B-to-B)
- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software .
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
