Our Hatfield-based client manages secure deliveries to prisons across the UK and needs skilled LGV Cat C (HGV Class 2) Drivers to join their team. Immediate start available and permanent position available for right candidate after completing the probation period. 6 months experience. DBS will be carried out as well. 

HGV Class 2 Driver Main duties will include: 

• Manage delivery from depot to prison site 
• 1-5 drops per day depending on the area of delivery 
• Ensure your load is safe and secure at all times 
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately 
• Maintain professional conduct representing the company 
• Manual handling 

HGV Class 2 Driver Shift: 

• Start times may vary each day between 5am-7am 
• Monday to Friday 

HGV Class 2 Driver Pay Rates: 

• Pay rate £16.68 PAYE for first 45 hours worked Monday to Friday 
• Pay rate £25.02 PAYE for Monday to Friday after 45 hours and all hours worked on Saturday 
• Guaranteed minimum 9 hours paid per day 
• 45 minute paid break
