The Best Connection West Bromwich are recruiting for a Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join our client's fantastic manufacturing/distribution centre based within the heart of West Bromwich.

There are two shifts available. Please see details below:

Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 18:00.

Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 19:00.

Pay rate: £14 per hour.

You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below.

Daily duties include:

• Work under the direction of a Team Leader, following assigned tasks and instructions.
• Set up and operate Crosshead Extrusion machinery.
• Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records.
• Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.
