The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Pallet Maker / Production Operative on behalf of a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Rowley Regis.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

08:00 – 17:00

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated production team, you will be involved in the manufacture and assembly of wooden pallets to customer specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembling wooden pallets to specification
• Measuring, cutting and preparing timber accurately
• Using hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws and drills
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are achieved
• Assisting with loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations
• Working efficiently to achieve daily production targets

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, construction, woodworking or pallet-making environment
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to undertake manual handling duties
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent reliability, punctuality and attendance
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
• A good understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices
