The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client in West Bromwich for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver looking for a varied role, with an even split between warehouse duties and forklift work.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.25 per hour

Start Date:

• Monday 3rd August 2026
• Week-by-week ongoing booking

The Role:

This position is approximately 50% warehouse work and 50% Counterbalance FLT driving.

Duties include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance FLT and manually where required.
• Picking and moving stock both manually and with the FLT.
• General warehouse duties.
• Supporting the warehouse team with any additional tasks as requested by the manager.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable carrying out physical/manual handling duties.
