About the Role

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an organised and detail-oriented Case Reviewer to join an established public sector organisation based in Glasgow on a temporary basis.

Working within a busy operational team, you will play an important role in supporting the administration and delivery of environmental schemes. This will involve reviewing applications and supporting documentation, ensuring information is accurate, complete and meets the required criteria.

This is a fast-paced casework position, requiring someone who can manage their own workload, work accurately to deadlines and make informed decisions based on the evidence available. You will communicate regularly with applicants and external stakeholders while working collaboratively with colleagues to support the successful delivery of operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess applications and supporting documentation in line with established procedures and requirements.

  • Examine information from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency.

  • Maintain accurate case records, databases and tracking spreadsheets.

  • Manage an individual workload, prioritising cases to meet deadlines and key performance indicators.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute ideas to improve processes and service delivery.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with applicants, external contacts and internal colleagues.

  • Communicate professionally with applicants and stakeholders via telephone, email and video calls.

  • Identify potential fraud, discrepancies or non-compliance concerns, escalating these appropriately.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different teams, sharing information and supporting wider operational objectives.

  • Make evidence-based decisions and recommendations, using sound judgement and attention to detail.

  • Use Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, alongside internal systems and digital tools.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administration, case review, casework, compliance or customer service role.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to review detailed information accurately.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience maintaining accurate records, databases or spreadsheets.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

  • The ability to follow processes and procedures consistently.

  • Confidence identifying discrepancies, raising concerns and escalating issues where necessary.

  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

  • The ability to work effectively in a busy, target-driven environment.

Previous experience within the energy sector is not essential, as training will be provided. Candidates must, however, be comfortable learning new processes quickly and delivering accurate work within a structured operational environment.

If you have excellent attention to detail, enjoy reviewing information and have experience working in a busy operational environment, we would be keen to hear from you.
