Because the firm is still young, you're not one engineer among 10 others, all competing for the same promotion. Your work is visible, your input is recognised and rewarded, and you'll help build process, standards, templates and best practice as you go, rather than follow ones that are already set.

Based close to Martin Place, the studio is open-plan, filled with natural light and has a genuine creative buzz to it. Working alongside the Founding Director, you'll benefit from a clear path to Senior.

As long as clients are happy, projects go out on time and remain profitable, it doesn't matter whether you've been at home or in the office that week.

You'll enjoy a diverse role spanning HVAC design, ESD and building physics, as part of a six-person team reporting to the Director who is calm, technically excellent and still genuinely hands-on, not three levels removed.

Day to day, you're in the guts of existing buildings rather than starting from a blank page, full plant replacements, AHU upgrades, chilled water redesigns, and district heating and cooling projects across commercial offices, industrial sites, agriculture, education and mixed-use developments.

You'll run surveys, develop HVAC designs and liaise directly with fund and commercial property owners who want to know what their assets are really capable of.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' building services design experience in Australia, with an engineering consultancy
• Comfortable talking Green Star, Section J and NABERS without needing it explained
• Initiative, curiosity and a genuine desire to improve the built environment
• Keen interest in decarbonisation and electrification
• Solid skills in IES-VE, Revit and Navisworks
• Full working rights in Australia.
