Are you experienced in Satellite, Broadcasting or Telecoms technology and looking for a unique opportunity to work on a 2 year fully expensed and tax fee contract in the Falkland Islands?
Amazing opportunity to join a renowned broadcaster that provide their services to the Military as you are supported, trained and developed into an overseas broadcast technology expert!
Established for over 70 years, our client is a leader in the market and offer full turnkey broadcasting solutions across the globe. With global coverage and still expanding, they are looking for a Broadcasting Technician who will take full onsite technical ownership of broadcasting and related technology in the Falkland Islands.
Initially on a 2 year fixed term contract, you will undergo 2-3 weeks pre deployment training in preparation to becoming the site broadcasting expert at a key location in the Falklands. You will cover everything from Installing satellite dishes, maintaining transmitter systems, IT networks, PAT testing, IT support, and much more!
This is a position that would suit an engineer who is looking for something different undergoing day to day work related challenges and life experiences!
The Role:
* Broadcasting Technician
* 2 year contract in the Falkland Islands (Possibility to extend the contract or go perm)
* Full onsite technical ownership of all relating broadcast technology!
* Installing satellite dishes, maintaining transmitter systems, IT networks, PAT testing, IT support!
* Full security clearance offered
The Person
* Telecom, Satellite or Broadcasting technology experience
* Must have some PAT testing / Electrical knowledge
* IT system and network knowledge
* Happy to work away from home
