About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to support the safe and reliable operation of electrical and control systems within a manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining plant uptime, safety, and compliance, working closely with the maintenance and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities

Electrical maintenance and breakdown response within an industrial manufacturing environment

Electrical isolation, testing, fault finding, and commissioning of plant equipment
-
Fault finding on motors, control panels, switchboards, and motor control circuits
-
Maintenance and troubleshooting of VSDs and associated control systems
-
Working safely around control, instrumentation, and automated systems
-
Compliance with WHS procedures, electrical legislation, and site safety standards
-
Clear communication with maintenance and operations teams
-
Accurate fault reporting and maintenance documentation
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:

Current NSW Electrical Licence (or transferable interstate licence)

Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)

Current White Card (Construction Induction)
-
Current CPR / LVR certification
-
Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or manufacturing environments

Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills
-
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
-
Current Australian driver’s licence
-
Own reliable transport
-
Ability to pass:
-
Police check
-
Pre employment medical
-
Drug and alcohol testing (including random testing)
-
Highly Desirable (Not Mandatory)

Experience in plastic manufacturing environments, including blow moulding, injection moulding, extrusion, or similar machinery

Exposure to instrumentation, sensors, and calibration
-
PLC and automation exposure (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar)
-
Experience working in continuous or 24 7 operations
