We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Service Manager for our Main dealer franchised client based in the Gloucester area.
Job Requirements:
You will have at least three years of experience in a retail service department management role within a Main dealer setting
You will manage 4 Customer Sales Advisors, 2 Workshop Controllers and a team of 14 Technicians.
As a great man manager you will be able to coach, mentor and motivate the team to achieve targets.
With motor trade experience you will have a proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
Experience in the motor trade is required for this role. You must also hold a full uk driving licence
Main Duties:
Achieve set agreed targets, plan budgets with the directors and provide managerial guidance within the Service Department to achieve.
Keep D.O.C. up to date on a daily basis and ensure department is on target to achieve or exceed budget.
To evaluate information in monthly accounts and plan activities to hit targets.
Maintain a happy team and keep employee records
Submit and sign off salary submissions for the department
To plan marketing activities and discuss with the directors within the agreed expense budget
In the event of a customer complaint liaise directly with the customer to provide a satisfactory resolution.
To liaise with the Manufacturer and its representatives to ensure maximum co-operation.
Ensure adequate control of all sub-contract and purchase invoices, this includes ensuring invoice authorisation is carried out in a timely manner.
Identify staff training needs to ensure a high level of ability & staff development. Ensuring that the Manufacturer’s training requirements are met.

8am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Saturdays 8:30am -12:30pm (Rota Basis)
