Purchase Ledger Clerk (RL8792) Selby, England

Salary: GBP9 - GBP11 per hour

A national business based in Selby, is currently recruiting a temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team. This is an ongoing role to support a busy finance team for the foreseeable future.

Immediate start and flexible work from home options are on offer for the successful Purchase Ledger Assistant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate supplier invoices received for approval
  • Process approved invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Process approved expense claims

 

We are keen to speak with candidates who are confident in managing the Purchase Ledger function and have previous experience dealing with high volume transactions. Having strong knowledge of accountancy software will also be advantageous.

For the right person, there will be an opportunity to pick up more responsibility within the finance team including; cashbook management, VAT returns, and weekly payroll preparation.
