HR Business Partner (RL11794) Malton, England

Salary: GBP30000 - GBP40000 per annum

A major UK food business, with multiple sites across the UK and Ireland, is recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team based in Malton, North Yorkshire.

This HR Business Partner role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave. The role is responsible for coordinating the site’s strategic initiatives inclusive of; leadership development, performance management and on-boarding.

Key responsibilities for the HR Business Partner will include:

  • Working closely with the management team and other key stakeholders
  • Managing complex employee relations issues
  • Improving employee relations; understanding and responding to feedback
  • Developing and implementing employee recognition schemes
  • Facilitating, influencing and executing proposed change management programmes
  • Ensuring line management are supported in the delivery of grievance and disciplinary matters
  • Regular interaction with trade union representatives

We are keen to speak with individuals who have experience in a labour-intensive, unionised, industry such as; food manufacturing, manufacturing, retail or care. The successful HR Business Partner will be CIPD Qualified, or equivalent, with demonstrative experience of leading complex and reactive employee relations.
