Castle are looking for an experienced Stores Assistant to join an established and growing business based York area, North Yorkshire. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the checking in and storage of goods. This is a contract role on a temporary basis but may well go permanent role and would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking in goods and storage of goods
- Packing up of goods for dispatch
- Signing for and receiving parcels from couriers
- Liaising with accounts and invoicing customers
- Booking shipments with couriers and printing delivery notes
We are looking for anyone with the relevant skills and/or experience below
- Experience of working in an office/stores/warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail
- Previous experience of a similar role would be beneficial
- Excellent organisational skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
- IT literate
