A major UK food business, with multiple sites across the UK and Ireland, is recruiting for a HR Advisor to join their team based in Malton, North Yorkshire.

This HR Advisor role is a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is responsible for supporting the site’s strategic initiatives inclusive of; leadership development, performance management and onboarding.

Key responsibilities for the HR Advisor position include:

• Promoting the company vision and values and values, working closely with the management team and other key stakeholders
• Supporting managers with investigations, disciplinary and interviews
• Improving employee relations and employee engagement; responding to feedback and delivery of relevant action plans
• Supporting the development and implementation of employee recognition schemes designed to motivate and energise the workforce
• Working with managers to develop a problem-solving culture
• Reporting and administration as required

We are keen to speak with individuals who have extensive employee relations experience and previous experience in an industry such as manufacturing, care or retail. The successful HR Advisor will understand how to interact with a diverse employee group and be comfortable doing so.
