Hi,
We are looking to hire IT professionals with good Desktop Rollout experience on an urgent basis.
The requirement is for casual contract roles in Canberra to start ASAP.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to work for an ASX listed company.
Desktop Rollout
- Physical movement of assets
- Installation of standard software and operating systems following documented instructions relating to PC and
- Escalate unresolved problems to client nominated escalation points / support teams
- Maintain records of changes performed
- Pack and unpack equipment onsite
- Perform basic or electronic audit tasks
- Testing of moved assets for connection to network
- Unplug and plug in assets to preconfigured ports
- Dispose of packaging onsite
- Installation of peripheral network attached assets (e.g. printers, scanners, etc.)
- Installation and monitoring of antivirus solutions on PC and Laptops
- Transfer of user data and settings from old computer to new computer
- Typically between 2 to 3 years’ experience
