Assistant Project Manager - Regional Data project (AVSI-216046) Kowloon, Hong Kong
Our client is a well-established global supply chain logistics company headquartered in Hong Kong. As part of their strategic growth, they are expanding their Data Management and Analytics team and are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager to lead data transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the PMO to develop comprehensive project charters that define objectives, scope, and feasibility.
- Create and maintain detailed data project plans, to ensure clear task assignments and prioritization.
- Oversee project execution, track progress, and ensure milestones and quality standards are met through regular reporting and performance metrics.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to align on requirements and provide timely updates.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure alignment, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and IT teams to drive project success and continuous improvement.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain accurate project documentation to support continuity and knowledge sharing.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 4+ years’ experience leading projects in a multinational or global environment.
- Proven experience in data-related projects, logistics transformation, or large-scale retail initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong background in vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
- Adaptable to evolving project requirements and dynamic environments.
- Proficient in PMO methodologies and familiar with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- PMI PMP certification preferred; experience with project management tools and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
