Technical Lead (Engineering Manager)

Technical Lead (Engineering Manager) (16641) Canberra, Australia

Salary: Level 4

Start: circa 03 November 2025
Duration: 12 months – possible extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT

Basic Requirements:

  • AGSVA Security clearance.
  • Defence experience.
  • Qualifications in Computer Science, IT Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in leading delivery of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT systems engineering.
  • Proven leadership in engineering management and technical strategy.
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud security.
  • Experience in Defence or AIC, ISR, or intelligence domains.
  • Experience with Defence ICT accreditation and engineering approval processes and requirements .
