Electrical Engineer |Technician | Industrial Automation

Organization:
You will be working for a company that has been specialized for over 60 years in the processing of minerals, using advanced systems developed specifically for this process. Their systems, methods, and process technology are also applied in various sectors such as machine building, metalworking, and other industrial production environments. The company operates multiple sites in the Netherlands with its own machinery and production lines. To strengthen the team, they are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a passion for industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation (measurement and control technology). 

Tasks and responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling, connecting, and commissioning electrical control systems, control cabinets, and PLC-controlled installations within the production plant. You will be part of the in-house technical team. A thorough training period, quality tools, and modern measuring equipment will be provided.

You will be involved in:
• Wiring, connecting, and testing control and switch cabinets.
• Troubleshooting control systems, machines, and installations.
• Performing modifications and extensions to existing control systems.
• Supporting the commissioning of new installations.
• Carrying out measurements and inspections on the systems.

Job requirements
• A completed MBO-level education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation, or another technical field.
• Experience with industrial control systems, panel building, or E&I.
• Knowledge of PLC systems is an advantage but not a requirement.
• You work independently, accurately, and have a proactive attitude.
• Fluent English and/or Dutch
