Robert Half is currently recruiting a Real Estate Accountant (m/f/x) for a permanent role.

Our client is an international company based in the Brussels area, active in a dynamic asset-driven environment.

Your responsibilities

• Manage the daily follow-up of invoices and purchase orders related to insurance, maintenance, repairs and capital expenditures.
• Monitor these costs against budget and ensure accurate accounting allocations and postings.
• Support monthly closings, including accruals, prepaid expenses, capitalization and depreciation.
• Assist with reconciliations, fixed asset follow-up, reporting, audits and budget preparation.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers regarding accounting and operational questions.
• Contribute to insurance claims follow-up, ESG reporting and process compliance.

Your profile

• You have a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• You have a first relevant experience in accounting, ideally in real estate or a similar environment.
• You speak Dutch and/or French and have a very good knowledge of English.
• You work accurately, are well organized and feel comfortable in an international setting.
