As Lead Corporate Treasury you will be responsible for:
Financial risk Management:
- Make clear recommendations to management with respect to changes to and/or updates of the group’s financial risk management strategy and policy, achieving an appropriate risk vs. cost balance and ensuring continued alignment to the group’s business model, its financial position and the relevant financial market conditions;
- Be responsible for the identification and quantification of the group’s financial exposures, predominantly including currency risk, interest rate risk and risks related to equity incentive programs. Drive the implementation of risk identification systems & processes. Responsible for the implementation of the equity hedging program.
Group funding:
- Ensures the continued availability of strategic financing frameworks by updating and optimizing the terms of the group’s debt capital market documentation (Euro Medium Term Note program and Belgian Commercial Paper program);
- Negotiation of corporate Treasury documentation, including bilateral funding initiatives, ISDA agreements, etc;
- In function of experience, lead or support debt capital market transactions, loan market transactions, liability management transactions or other major financing transactions of the group.
International Treasury:
- End-to-end responsibility in overseeing Treasury matters at group affiliates, making clear recommendations to local management including reviews and initiation of changes of local capital structure, affiliates’ operational banking arrangements, facilities, guarantees and other requirements;
- Monitor the affiliates’ capital structure for optimizing cash centralization and drive the reviews thereof within intercompany loan governance committee. Together with Tax department, ensure continued up-to-date Treasury transfer pricing policy.
Treasury controlling:
- End-to-end responsible for Treasury controlling activities, including the reconciliation and budgeting of financial results, cash flow and net debt forecasting, etc. in close interaction with group controlling;
- Responsible for Treasury reporting (group IFRS reporting);
- Ensuring compliance to information requirements under debt documentation.
