Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in supporting embedded software, firmware, or operating-system–level development teams. The role focuses on driving effective Scrum practices, optimizing cross‑team collaboration, and ensuring high delivery performance in a technically complex R&D environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate all core Scrum events and ensure effective team collaboration.
- Actively remove impediments, particularly regarding cross‑team dependencies in OS development.
- Coach the team in agile principles, continuous improvement, and flow optimization.
- Support backlog refinement and clarify low-level OS‑related work items.
- Maintain transparency using meaningful progress and flow metrics.
- Strengthen collaboration between firmware, architecture, testing, and release teams.
- Shield the team from disruptions and maintain focus on delivery.
- Drive process improvements and support early risk identification and mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory)
- >8 years of experience supporting software development teams (preferably embedded, firmware, OS-level).
- Proven experience coordinating work across hardware, software, architecture, and testing teams.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD in embedded environments (build pipelines, automated testing, integration cycles).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or similar.
- SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Additional advanced Scrum Master certifications (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II/III).
- Agile leadership capabilities.
- English business fluent (C1 level).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- German language skills (nice to have).
- Experience with low-level software: drivers, communication protocols, real-time systems.
- Experience with embedded firmware development environments.
