Workload: 60% -100%
Duration: 6 months

This role strongly requires hands-on Azure experience and a clear willingness to work in Operations & Support.

This is not a pure DevOps engineering or architecture role.
Candidates must be comfortable taking operational responsibility, handling incidents, and ensuring stable day-to-day operations of cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep cloud infrastructure services running reliably and act as the primary contact when issues arise
  • Monitor systems, investigate incidents, and resolve infrastructure problems across Azure cloud and on‑prem environments
  • Take over operational responsibilities from existing teams and establish sustainable operations through runbooks and automation
  • Support R&D squads with infrastructure-related questions, onboarding, and troubleshooting
  • Continuously improve operational workflows by identifying recurring issues, automating manual tasks, and reducing operational overhead
  • Help evolve the service catalogue by identifying gaps, improving existing offerings, and automating repetitive work

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (designing, operating, or supporting workloads)
  • Willingness to work in Operations & Support as a core part of the role
  • Practical experience with Linux systems
  • Experience with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes
  • Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or similar)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation)
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for running systems
  • Clear ambition to grow into an infrastructure engineering role, not remain in pure support long-term
  • Fluent English
