Warehouse Assembler

Pay: £13.00 per hour
Weekly hours: 40 hours

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Warehouse Assemblers to join our client on a contract basis

There are morning and afternoon shifts available, Monday to Friday.

Hours:

Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:30
Afternoon shift: 14:30 – 23:00

Overtime: Any hours worked over 40 per week are paid at time and a half.

The Role:

• Picking and moving stock and materials around the warehouse
• Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
• Preparing materials for different areas of the business
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
• Ensuring materials are stored correctly and kept organised
• Using warehouse scanners and equipment as required
• Updating stock information using computer systems
• Handling materials safely and following company procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

We're Looking For:

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer and scanner skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 23kg when required
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, reach and work at different heights
• Comfortable working around warehouse equipment
• Willingness to follow all health and safety procedures
• Safety footwear and PPE must be worn as required
