The Best Connection Reading is currently seeking a Class 2 Dustcart Driver to work for a well-established company in the Waste Management industry. Based in Bracknell.

This role is a temporary to permanent role, meaning after 12 weeks you will be offered a permanent contract.

The role:

• Driving a Class 2 Dustcart lorry safely and effectivley
• Completing residential and commercial refuse collections.
• Working closely with Loaders to complete collections.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe to operate by conducting daily vehicle checks.
• To report any incidents or accidents.
• Driving in a safe manner.
• To complete any paperwork required correctly.
• To represent the company to customers, delivering a professional and friendly service.

Hours and pay:

• Monday to Friday, 05:45 – 15:45 (45 hours per week)
• £17.00 per hour (PAYE), £25.50 per hour after 9 hours a day.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 2 Licence (category C).
• Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Customer service.
• Good communication and a can-do attitude!
• Reliable and flexible for overtime.
• Previous experience working in the waste industry (preferred but not required).
