In this newly created role, The Service Delivery Executive is accountable for strategic leadership of Shared Services SA’s service delivery operations. The position is responsible for ensuring that service delivery resources are efficiently managed to deliver timely and quality services to government agency customers, within an effective control environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing effective leadership and direction to staff responsible for the professional, timely and high-quality delivery of services to client agencies.
- Coordinating and influencing the implementation of business improvement initiatives and associated change management processes across a diverse range of client agencies.
- Efficiently and effectively managing financial, physical and human resources associated with the delivery of services.
- Creating a positive organisational culture, which embraces performance, diversity and provides ongoing opportunities for staff development.
- Positively contributing to the strategic direction of Shared Services SA and the Department.
- Maintaining an effective control environment for the provision of services, including the management of strategic service delivery risks and issues.
- Providing high level advice to the Executive Director, Shared Services SA and when appropriate the Chief Services Officer, Under Treasurer and Treasurer.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in the application of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Ethics, EEO and cultural inclusion.
- An understanding of the legislative requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
- An understanding of and ability to manage to the spirit and principles of AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk management –Guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex corporate and/or shared services functions coupled with experience in implementing business improvement and change management initiatives.
- Proven expertise in the application of operations performance management practices.
