A leading investment services firm in NYC & Dallas is looking for a SOC Engineer to report to the head of security operations to focus on the engineering, architecture and automation of their in-house platforms/SIEM.
This role is fully onsite and the company has very competitive benefits including 25 days of PTO and 12 company holidays!
Responsibilities
- Deploy detections/automations within the firm’s SIEM & SOAR platform
- Implement and create SIEM content such as rules and alerts
- Improve SIEM analytics, conducting frequent assessments of their Sentinel SIEM
- Build automation for alert enhancement
- Continuously test/improve the SIEM/SOAR platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS Or related
- 3+ years in security related role with SIEM/SOAR engineering experience; Sentinel is a plus!
- Experience with Microsoft tooling is a plus
- Proficiency with automation tooling
Comp is around 180k base + bonus.
