Location: Romford

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4pm

Pay: £13 - £25.40 per hour

Type: Full Time / Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Category B Van Driver looking for ongoing work with a leading automotive glass specialist in the Romford area?

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Van Drivers/Warehouse Operative in Romford.

The Role:

• Delivering automotive glass products to garages, service centres and outposts within a 50-mile radius of the Romford depot.
• Driving a company van to complete safe and timely deliveries for the automotive trade.
• Loading and unloading glass products while ensuring they are handled with care.
• Working within the warehouse, moving inventory, picking orders and loading vans for daily deliveries.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.
• Working as part of a busy warehouse and logistics team.
• Ongoing work with the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Full UK Category B Driving Licence.
• Minimum 1 year's commercial van driving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience, or happy to work in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable with warehouse duties and is physically fit.
• Good geographical knowledge and confident planning local delivery routes.
• A professional, reliable attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
