FIELDWORK SERVICES ENGINEER – BRISBANE QLD METRO

 We are looking for an experienced fieldwork services engineer in and around Tingalpa QLD willing to work on a 1month contract  with the view to extend . We are looking for Engineers who like to be challenged, are proactive and can follow instructions promptly.

 Key Accountabilities:

• Build relationships with and deliver high standards of service and training to all IT customers and vendors, complying with and enforcing IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure all incidents and requests are consistently, promptly and accurately logged in the Service Desk System; ascertaining the business impact, tracking the progress of tickets from beginning to conclusion in line with SLAs and quality standards, and escalating tickets when required to appropriate backline teams or vendors.
• Collaboration with Third Party Suppliers to escalate open tickets and enable us to meet or exceed SLAs will be required when appropriate.
• Drive down incident volumes by identifying problems and continuous improvement opportunities, liaising with IT teams, vendors and backline support teams to implement approved changes.
• Perform regular EUC and Infrastructure health checks, ensuring all devices are kept up to date with Anti-Virus Software and the SCCM Client remains active.
• Maintain all documentation, registers and guides, and ensure all compliance is adhered to across daily tasks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• 5 – 7 years of related IT work experience in a large-scale corporate environment.
• Ability to demonstrate experience of working in a large managed services environment.
• Qualification and experience in ITIL particularly within Incident and Problem Management.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills to connect with and lead diverse cross-functional teams, and to present to Senior Executives in a user-friendly, non-technical manner.
• Proven history in project management, with the ability to handle competing priorities with ease.
• Flexibility and commitment towards work and the requirements of the role.
