Acorn by Synergie is recruiting QA Operators, Quality Assurance Operators, and Quality Control Operatives for a modern, forward-thinking manufacturer in St Austell.

Key Duties
  • Carry out quality inspections of manufactured products in line with quality standards.

  • Complete batch documentation accurately and on time.

  • Take and inspect in-process control (IPC) samples in accordance with specifications and Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs).

  • Report and record Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.

  • Support packaging, labelling, and the operation of production machinery.

  • Respond to machine alarms and take corrective action to maintain production flow.

  • Ensure all work complies with company procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines.

  • Complete effective shift handovers and escalate issues where required.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or similar.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

  • Computer literate with a proactive and reliable approach.

  • Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern of 4 days (7am–7pm), 4 days off, 4 nights (7pm–7am), 4 days off.
