Key Duties

As a Factory Operative, you'll work across all areas of food production and packaging, helping to produce premium food products to high standards of quality, food safety and customer satisfaction.

This is a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where attention to detail and maintaining high standards are essential.

The role is physically demanding, and you'll need to be comfortable with:

• Working in very cold food production environments, with some areas being extremely hot.

• Standing for extended periods.

• Carrying out regular manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 15kg at a time.

• Working at pace to meet production targets.

• Maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and hygiene at all times.

This hands-on Production Operative role is suited to individuals who enjoy active work and are prepared to work hard as part of a close-knit team.

Requirements

Essential

• Previous food factory, production, manufacturing or warehouse experience.

• A strong work ethic and reliable approach.

• Good attendance and timekeeping.

• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high standards.

• Good attention to detail.

• A flexible approach to work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good physical fitness and manual handling capability, including lifting up to 15kg.

• Good English and numeracy skills.

Desirable

• Previous food manufacturing or food factory experience.

• Experience working in chilled or freezer environments.

• Experience working to food safety and hygiene standards.
