Warehouse Operatives (WH FP) Sittingbourne, England

Major Recruitment are currently looking for a large number of Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Sittingbourne for on-going Temp-To-Perm work. You will be joining a well-established workplace on Sittingbourne’s Eurolink.
Shifts Patterns:
You will rotate through a combination of shifts on a weekly basis & as such you must be able to cover 1 of the following shift patterns to be eligible:
Shift Pattern 1:
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 23:00
- 23:00 - 07:00
Shift Pattern 2:
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 23:00
- Unpaid "Rest Week" (Possible Paid Shift Cover During This Week)
Pay Rates:
As this is a Temp-To-Perm position pay rates are £10.00 for the 1st 12 weeks.
After that the following options are available:
- Taken On By Client As A Permanent Employee
- Stay On With Agency On Enhanced Rates
Responsibilities:
Normal duties will include (but are not exclusive to):
• Picking & Packing
• Handling products
• Working on the production lines
• Scanning and checking labels for goods in and out
• Unwrapping and wrapping pallets
• Checking for any damage or faults in goods
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to carry out continual heavy lifting
• Knowledge of goods in and goods out scanning systems
