We are representing a premier Engineering and Architecture practice in Galway that is looking for a driven professional to spearhead a diverse portfolio of medium to large scale projects.

The Role
​In this position, you won’t be boxed into one niche. You will lead projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure sectors. Your expertise will guide the process through every stage, ensuring high-quality design and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Lead and manage projects from inception to completion on-site.
  • ​Prepare detailed architectural drawings in both 2D and 3D.
  • ​Collaborate closely with in-house Civil/Structural Engineers and Interior Designers to develop technical details.
  • ​Conduct site inspections and attend project meetings to ensure design integrity.
  • ​Navigate Irish Planning and Building Regulations to deliver seamless project approvals.


What You’ll Bring

  • Qualifications: You must be a RIAI Registered Architect.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have 2–3 years of experience post-registration, preferably within a design office or multidisciplinary setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. If you’re savvy with Revit or rendering software, that’s a major plus.
  • ​Regulatory Knowledge: Solid experience with construction detailing is essential, and familiarity with the BCMS platform will give you a head start.
  • Communication: You should be a clear communicator who can collaborate effectively with both clients and internal design teams.
  • Mobility: A full driver’s license and access to your own transport are essential for site visits.
